Absolutely. All lessons are aligned with the California VAPA Standards and the Arts Framework. Each weekly lesson plan identifies the specific standards addressed. Completing the full 30-week program ensures students meet all 11 anchor standards for their grade level and discipline.

California students come from diverse cultural backgrounds, and it’s important they see themselves reflected in their arts education. Lessons were developed with input from culture-bearers in each discipline and focus on fostering cultural appreciation, curiosity, and empathy while celebrating identity and expression.
Each lesson provides tools for formative and summative assessments aligned with the lesson’s learning objectives and SEL goals, helping teachers track student progress and measure success.
